We love meeting couples at Bridal Expos! Undoubtedly a great way to get all the information you want and have a chance to chat about your plans and how we can be a part of them!

It All Starts with “Hello”!

Whether you meet us at a bridal expo or find us online, just a few minutes of chatting with us shows how much we love wedding photography. Obviously, a lot of couples also really love the fact that we’re husband and wife photographers!

We’ve been photographing weddings together since 2014. Formerly, Rob had been a wedding photographer on his own since 1998. Additionally, we both worked in professional video production for years prior to meeting!

We’d love to chat with you about your wedding photography wants and needs!

Obviously, engagement photos should capture who you are! But they should also be fun along the way!

Engagement Photos are Included with Every Wedding Photography Package!

The journey with Heather & Rob Wedding Photography starts with engagement photos. Your trust is crucial to our success as your personal wedding day historians. That all begins with the engagement session. Firstly, it’s important that you’re relaxed and comfortable in front of our cameras. That’s how we capture the real you!

Secondly, seeing you together in a relaxed environment really tells us about your love.

And finally, you get some amazing photos to share and use in your invitations!

    Frequently Asked Questions

Our booking fee is $500, due after the contract is signed. Once that’s completed,  you can pay by check or online through Intuit.

No. We absorb that cost so you don’t have to.

We charge sales tax on the digital delivery of your final images and video, which is $5 and a line item on your invoice. This results in $.30 sales tax on every package. However, this applies to Maryland residents only.

*Additionally, please note this may change as sales tax laws are changing.

Yes, we and our equipment are fully insured under a corporate insurance policy and additionally through workmans comp insurance.

Ideally, as soon as you know you want us as your photographers! But realistically, when you feel nothing is going to change with your wedding date. However, there’s no minimum or maximum amount of time for booking. Presently, we book some weddings years out and others with less than two weeks before the big day!

Yes! Engagement photos are free with every photo or photo-video package! Specifically, Rob handles all engagement sessions and schedules them no more than 6 weeks out to avoid conflicts with potential wedding dates.

Depending on the time of year, you can expect to have your final edited photos back within 6-8 weeks of your wedding day. Occasionally, they will be delivered sooner than that (especially at Christmas time).

You will have printing rights to the photos. We retain ownership which includes real and intellectual copyright of the images. However, we respect your privacy and will not use your photos for promotional purposes if you ask us not to.

Yes! We always carry backup cameras and lenses. Obviously, we also have more than enough flashes and batteries to handle any wedding day!

In nearly 30 years of doing weddings, Rob has never missed a single one. In our ten years together doing this, Heather had to have a substitute once (when her mother passed away) and Curt Miller, our associate photographer, did a fantastic job in her place.

Furthermore, we’re members of Fearless Photographers and several photographer groups and although we’ve never needed anyone to substitute for us, we have on occasion helped out other photographers in these networks. Part of the purpose of these networks is to find qualified replacements should you need them. We never have, but we know we can if the unforeseeable should ever happen.
